Signing in
Sign in to Isolde with a one-time code sent to your email.
Isolde uses passwordless sign-in: instead of a password, you confirm your identity with a one-time code sent to your email. There is nothing to remember and nothing to reset.
You enter a code the first time you sign in on a browser, and again only once your Isolde sign-in has expired (or when you sign in on a new browser or device). The steps below cover that first sign-in.
Step by step
- Open Isolde. The public landing page opens — this is not your workspace yet. Select Sign in. You are taken to the Isolde sign-in page.
- On the first screen, enter your email address and complete the short verification challenge shown beneath it (this runs in your browser to confirm you are a person — there is nothing to install). Select Send code.
- You will see a confirmation that reads "If an account exists for that address, we've sent a code." This message is shown for every address, so it never reveals whether a particular email is registered.
- Check your email for a message from Isolde containing a one-time code.
- On the next screen, enter the code from the email. On success you are taken into your workspace.
Resending or changing your email
On the code screen you can:
- Resend — return to the first screen to request a new code. For security, the browser verification is single-use, so you complete it again when you ask for another code.
- Change email — go back to the first screen to enter a different address.
Codes are single-use and time-limited
Each code works once and expires after a short time. If your code has expired or does not work, request a new one with Resend. If the email does not arrive, see Reference & FAQ for troubleshooting.
What happens next
After you enter a valid code, Isolde works out which organisation to open:
- If you belong to one organisation, it opens automatically.
- If you belong to more than one, you choose which to open.
- If you belong to none yet, you are asked to request an invitation from your administrator (see Creating an account).
Signing in again after you sign out
Signing out ends your workspace session, but your Isolde sign-in itself can still be active in the background. While it is, selecting Sign in again re-opens your workspace without asking for a new code. You are only asked for a fresh one-time code once that sign-in has expired, or when you sign in on a new browser or device. See Signing out.
